Black Mountain is a very cool community, the hotel is within walking distance, but still slightly isolated from the crowds. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable, and shower was amazing! Also, one of the best continental breakfasts ever, amazing selection!

No restaurant and by the time we got to the hotel, food options were limited!

"Great place to stay, near downtown Black Mountain, so one could walk if desired."

Breakfast was good, lots of choices (oatmeal was mushy), scones and breads and waffles and cereal were some of the offerings.

It was very cold in the dining area.

We love to stay here when visiting Black Mountain. The only thing I could say that might need improvement is the caulk in our shower. It needs replacing as it looked moldy.
