Quality Inn Merriam Kansas City

Was peaceful and quiet, enjoyed the stay, had to leave early in the morning. It is a good place to relax and sleep.

This hotel is not kid or family friendly. I booked 3 rooms for my parents, my sister and her kids and my own family. My children saw 2 different prostitutes going in rooms and we could very loudly hear someone having sex nearby in a room close to ours. The rooms are nasty and outdated. My sister had to move rooms due to mold growing around the ac unit and it smelt of cat pee when you walked in. It was not a good experience. I will not be going back and definitely do not recommend to families.

The room was dirty, the lock didn’t work in our room. The bathroom was dirty and looked like it had not been cleaned. The sheets had stains everywhere.

Property was average overall. Medium cleanliness. Co ers were damp in room until temperature readjusted. Staff was very friendly and nice though.

The little things add up: leaky tub faucet, tv remote doesn’t work, no info about WiFi posted, doors and other things looked worn, the breakfast was sub par - not fresh after a while - condensation from container dripping on the muffins - blow dryer - only one speed worked. The price was lower and I didn’t expect luxury. If you offer it, it should work. I would suggest eliminating the free breakfast and put some money into upkeep and maybe staffing so everything is checked and kept up. All staff interactions were welcoming and pleasant.

The king sized bed was on some handmade squeaky frame. It was ridiculous. The bed barely fit in the room. Way overpriced for how the room was
