Quality Inn & Suites Eau Claire University Area

The place was close to restaurants and gas stations. The staff was friendly. The bed was comfortable, and I was able to control the intensity of the air conditioning.

The breakfast served had few nutritious items, except for yogurt and bananas. I didn't have hot water when I showered. The water wasn't ice cold. It was luke warm which wasn't warm enough for me. There is no elevator on the property, which could be a problem for someone who is handicapped or is carrying heavy luggage.

Pool, hot tub and breakfast we really liked and appreciated. The hotel does NOT have an elevator, so you have to take the stairs with luggage up the stairs. They do NOT state no stairs ahead of time. Room had stale odor of previous smoking in room & they tried to use scent to cover it up.

It was nice that we could check in early to fit our schedule.

Even though its a non smoking hotel, the room clearly smelled of stale cigarettes. Both the sink faucet and the shower faucet didn't work properly. The sink faucet leaked from the base and got everything on the counter wet. The shower faucet wouldn't turn the shower head on completely so less than half the water was coming out of the shower head, the majority came out of the faucet. The front desk clerk was polite but while checking in he told me I look tired. Thanks dude, i just have bags under my eyes all the time. Its hereditary. Thank goodness we were only there for 1 night.

Only problem our room didnt get clean towels or trash removed. Other than that the front desk was very helpful and apologized.

Quick and easy check in

Traveled for family reunion. Hotel was lacking in maintenance, door did not lock, pool are was old, needing repair and maintenance. No restrooms to access from pool or breakfast area. Lack of decent/healthy food options at breakfast. Hotel was one of the higher priced in area, disappointed.

It’s a very good value. The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean. The breakfast was average. Each staff member was friendly. The guy that was manning the desk and breakfast area was doing his best. Looked like he could have used a helper. So much going on at once for one person. But had a smile doing it. I’d definitely stay there again.
