New Yorker Hotel

The hotel is located in a narrow street about 10 minutes walk from the river / fortress, it has a small parking if you need one. We booked a standard room which was big enough and had a desk with PC (which can be screened also on the TV). The reception stuff does not speak English at all but we managed to communicate using google translate. As for the breakfast - better skip it, it is VERY basic, you can find better options at one of places nearby.

Amazing jacuzzi spa and big TV screen to enjoy the stay.

The hotel is in a very popular part of town with restaurants and bars that are active in the evening. Check in is firmly at 4, we were not permitted to check in early at all (we arrived at 3) but were allowed to park on site. Bedding for the # of travelers we made the reservation for wasn’t in our room when we came back late in the evening and a staff member threw the futon beds on top of our sleeping children when they did bring them to the room (after we asked). The room has two “bathrooms” but only 1 toilet. AC is controlled by a tv remote that isn’t marked. Breakfast is provided (appreciate that) and was bread, American cheese, cook your own eggs and instant ramen. Coffee packets, milk and juice also available. Mattresses are definitely firm. We didn’t sleep much at all but our children did get some rest.

Many shops n restaurants nearby. Big room, big bathtub, clean. Abt 20mins walk from intercity bus terminal.

They mentioned that they had breakfast on the website and in the room, but when I went down during breakfast time, the room was dark and there was no food. Otherwise--great place! Very new.

I stayed here for my birthday during the Jinju Lantern Festival. The hotel is right in the middle of a restaurant / hotel area, so food is abundant nearby. The fortress and riverside are about a 10-12 minute walk away. While it is one of the more expensive options in Jinju, the rooms are excellent - well maintained and smartly furnished. Unfortunately, our first night here was dogged by problems - the jacuzzi bath in the room didn't seem to pump water for the jacuzzi function, and we then had issues with the TV. The problem with the TV was sorted but the jacuzzi problem required some investigation and meant we had to change rooms the next day (I believe it was fixed the next day, so should be fine now). Changing rooms turned out to be a blessing, as the very kind receptionist was able to get us upgraded for our trouble - to a vast room with a massage chair! The hotel was able to deal with our problems very well, and I would happily stay here again in Jinju.
