Hampton Inn by Hilton Indianapolis-South

I am a fairly frequent guest in hotels. My experience at Hampton Inn Indianapolis South was really just exceptional. Besides the nice and clean appearance, and that the management had the heavy snow totally cleared from the lot.......I was so impressed by the person behind the desk who had booked me over the phone dealing with my wife. The person who helped us was " SHILPA ", and she's really special. So very friendly and GENUINE ! She made my day after traveling a long way in bad weather. Her personality and kind attitude really touched me. Hopefully , Shilpa will hear that I was very impressed. Thank You

Breakfast buffet was excellent

Room had a sewage smell to it.

This hotel is pet friendly which was the main reason we chose it.

The pet area was a little out of the way.

Location and easy access is always a biggie.

There was a large group of soccer families and the parents did not keep an eye on the kids. Kids were running around the lobby, running in and out of the pool area-dripping wet-and I to the gym/exercise room. Playing with the elevators. The person at the desk was busy trying to keep an eye on the shenanigans that were going on and doing her job. It did quiet down at 1000 after being told of the quiet policy but started up first thing the next morning. Again-I blame the parents more than the staff/facilities.
