Breakfast was good

Problems with room first assigned - refrigerator was not working, next room was right next to elevator and we refused it, and the final room was very noisy with air conditioning units right outside the room on the roof of the check-in area, I guess, which was terribly loud and shook the room to include the floor and bed. This was after requesting a quiet room and the woman said she did not know about being able to find a quiet room for us.

We had purchased a $50 cake which requires refrigeration and gallon of milk. The frig never got cold enough despite calling the staff to assess. In the past we were provided extra plus blankets. This time they gave us uncomfortable comforters. I would have brought my own blankets had I known. I addrssed these issues when we left and was told people walked off with the nice stuff. The beds were so uncomfortable that my back hurts,

Overall a good hotel, large room. Good WiFi. Very clean. Slept well there. The full breakfast was really good.

I had an unusual experience in the room that is not necessarily a bad reflection on the hotel but is significant. There was an upholstered chair in the room that I sat on and after maybe 45 minutes I noticed I was beginning to itch on my upper legs and buttocks. That part of my body in closest contact with the chair had suddenly broken out in severe hives. I did not use the chair again and after 2 hours the hives improved and were gone by morning. Evidently some chemical in the upholstery caused an allergic response. Also, after taking a shower in the morning the tub would not drain and by the end of the shower I was in ankle deep water. For the price of the accommodation I would have expected fewer issues.

Room clean, staff very nice, air conditioning worked perfect, parking adequate but difficult to get out.

HVAC was programmed for energy saving and thermostats won’t function in room. After a couple hours programming in thermostats came back to working. Breakfast is a charge and is mediocre. Staff friendly
