Red Roof Inn Montgomery - Midtown

This room was absolutely disgusting! They are newly renovated with floors that turned out feet black! Most disgusting room I've ever stayed in for 80 dollars!

Poor room maintenance, mattress broken.one set of towels for two days.eraerll unfriendly front desk staff.

Hello. I just checked out today, i reserved a 5 day stay, w/4 nights and the management and regular staff employess, refused me service while we were staying the entire 5 days there. They will let people in rooms, w/o even talking to the renter of the room first. They let my ex boyfriend in my room that we stayed in, but the room was only in my name, but he left entirely from room 2 nights before due to checkout. So i aak myslef , why woukd they lef my ex back in my room , not even knowin if i wouldve been safe or not, all bc they mad ehim a key. Lastly I called up there. I explaining to them that they had let him in the room that he had already been gone from because we weren't together and they told me II asked him to go tell him he had to leave if he wouldn't put it in his name, the rumor and he told me to call the police. Instead. Which would have put me in a dangerous spot of sorts so that was not an option for me and they refused to honor the fact that if anything was wrong or happened, damage wise to the room, that was still in my name, that I would be legally responsible for it. So I asked him at that point, to please go ahead and check me out right then, and he refused to do so, and hung up in my face. That's pretty much it.

I didn't stay here and was charged after calling the hotel that they were located too far away from me after evacuating FL due to Hurricane Milton. Someone else reserved the room for me but didn’t know the distance from where I was. The hotel staff said they canceled the reservation and to call Expedia. Expedia told be to call the hotel. What a nightmare!!

Mold everywhere. , bathtub leaked at seama all over floor , staff refused to provide more than two towels at a time in a room with four guest , booked double bed ended up with only one , was the only place available to escape hurricane Milton unfortunately I found out why it was the only one available, it able to do yourself a favor and stay ANYWHERE else, wish I could add a photo of all the black mold under the sink and elsewhere

I waited 30 mins at the from desk before someone showed up to check us in. Our original room (162) had a beeping smoke alarm when we first arrived, and had drug paraphernalia in the kitchen drawer so we were moved to another room (166). This room had a distinct odor and the TV had no remote, more crap in the kitchen drawer but we spent the night in it. The following morning we found the kitchen sink was not connected to the drain and the water emptied into to cupboard below which upon looking was full of black mold. We we moved again - back to 162 ( as nothing else was available), the fix for the smoke alarm was to remove it! Then upon going to take a shower we found there was no shower head and water poured directly out of the tub because of the angle of the pipe( which I cut myself on trying to move whilst being covered in cold water). We were moved again “to a better room” we did stay in this room the final 2 nights. We had to tighten the toilet seat that was falling off, and the cold water was not hooked up to the bathroom sink. The floor was so dirty that bare feet were black on the bottom not long after showering ! This place should be condemned. The advertised pool was a hole in the ground- didn’t look to have been open any time lately.

Bathroom looked like it was remodeled by a 12 yr old. Front desk enclosed with bullet proof glass. Room door was heavily damaged and a terrible patch job. Bathroom door was falling off the hinges. Bathroom tile had mortar that looked like it was never cleaned up. Considerable amount of paint splattered on the floor. Loud neighbors with unattended barking dogs. That was the worst Red Roof we have stayed at. Marking that one off our list!

The rooms were super clean and comfortable. Parking was good, and glad there were handicap spaces.
