Nozawa Dream Central

The staff were generally friendly depending on whom you deal with (some are super friendly, others were so so). Decent location near the coach stop, but not near the ski lifts area.

The room was quite small with small window. Walking up and down the hill to the ski lift can be challenging with heavy snow.

Rooms were a great size, tea and toast making facilities were very good for our family travelling. Very close to restaurants and bus stop

Our room was simply but comfortable, the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The location in terms of the town centre is excellent, only a couple of minutes walk to shops, restaurants, onsen and bus stop. A decent 15 min walk to the ski area but only a very short walk to the shuttle bus. Our room had toilet but no bathroom, this was not a problem for us. Overall we had a most enjoyable stay.

Breakfas was not available, although there was a fridge and breakfast room for self bought provisions, breakfast options in town were quite limited.

Did not feel friendly or inviting, comparing this to a Japanese run facility, it was mediocre at best. No breakfast. shared bathrooms. Feels like a hostel, with very few amenities. younger staff not particularly helpful. Thin walls, and lots of drunk australians. When we booked, there was supposedly a breakfast included, they emailed a month or so later appologizing that they were not going to be able to provide breakfast option, and offered a refund for a few days only, but at that there werent alot of other options, when some became available, they were not willing to refund at that point.

Danny and the reception girls were amazing. So friendly and helpful. We have been to Nozawa before and it was a much better experience because of them.

That breakfast was not offered this year. Happy to pay but we spent our money at Winterland which should of gone to you. :(
