Kauai Shores Hotel

This hotel was so amazing from the very start with the booking process all the way to the end. The location is prime with awesome and fairly priced food just a few minutes walk away. The staff absolutely encompass the aloha spirit. Being born and raised on O'ahu and knowing the prices for the level of quality from this resort, I was expecting it to be way more pricey but it was a steal and even during a holiday weekend! The amenities are great; free bikes to ride on a nice trail from the hotel, pool and jacuzzi open late, an outdoor fire pit, corn hole and outside games, free photo booth, and more! There is a cute little general store in the lobby that has everything you'd need, and yummy Lappert's brand ice cream. My family and I really had the best time, and this is now our absolutely favorite hotel out of all we've stayed at. Mahalo nunui, Kauai Shores Hotel! 10/10 would stay again 🤙🏽

My family had a great time staying at Kauai Shores. As we were checking in the tsunami warning alerts started going out on our phones. The hotel provided a place for us to go to away from the shore inland on higher ground and we waited it out from about 4pm-11pm. The hotel made sure to provide food later that evening and updated us regularly. Thank God the tsunami didn’t end up amounting to much and we were able to enjoy the rest of our visit. The hotel itself has beautiful views and is in a central location that made it easy for us to visit the north and the south parts of the island. And Lava Lava Beach Club is a cool place with great food and drinks. Kapaa is a cool little town itself with great places to eat and things to do and see. This was our second trip to the island and looking to book another trip for July this year. Wanted to thank the staff for ensuring we had a safe place to go to. Mahalo 🤙🏼

Kauai Shores Hotel is surely a magical place. It definitely made me feel like I was in Hawaii. From the spectacular atmosphere, tropical views, walks surrounded by orchids, hibiscus, all all kinds of lovely scents, I do miss it all. And when it rains, I just can stare off my lanai and admire how beautiful this island is. Lots of activities, convenient location, beach front restaurant on site, and amazing people all around. Price is better than other hotels next door. Book it while you can, enjoy as much as I did.

A lil expensive but other than that it was great!

I can’t recall most specific names of most Staff but every single person we had the chance to meet were very friendly and provided exceptional service and Aloha. From front desk personnel, to Valet, to Landscaping and Maintenance and the Lava Lava Grill. Everything was great!! I especially would like to acknowledge Mary in Housekeeping. She was very friendly and kind and always had a great smile and greeted us!

Noisy and unsafe

Our room door didn’t lock People were banging on our door as they walked past - it was so noisy late at night during quiet time. No point escalating to reception because by the time we did the people had moved on. The door didn’t lock and the reception didn’t seem to care or want to help us move into a room that was secure

Die Lage war sehr gut. Der Lava Lava Beach Club versorgte uns gut an unserem ersten Abend.

Die Bar und das Restaurant hat schon um 21:00 Uhr geschlossen. Die Gäste konnten jedoch noch bis 22:00 Uhr den Whirlpool nutzen.
