Motel 6-Clovis, NM

We booked through Expedia a non-smoking king room, when we arrived they said there was none available (their website said there was 6). When we arrived they said we could have a smoking king room for the same press or a double non-smoking for nearly double what we paid. No accommodation was made to lower price for worse rooms, and we didn’t know until we went to sleep. I will be paying extra to not stay at this location again.

While I stepped out for a bit, someone had entered our room without permission. Door was not only left unlocked but opened. My personal belongings was still there other than my laptop. Computer was missing. Also, when I went to shower, there was no water, management claimed that they were working on their plumbing. They refused to refund my money for renting me an non-functional Room-Management handled it very poorly where I had to call the cops out and file a report of what happened.

Had homeless people wandering the grounds at 3 am. Couldn't call the front desk, my room phone was dead. Had to Google the number for the hotel on my cell. If I hadn't had a phone or it was dead like it almost was, I would have been stuck in the room. Finally got the front office andvthey told me not worry about the people rifling through the trash, and checking if room and car doors were secured, they do it all the time and they would eventually leave. Other than that Major safety issue, the bed was like sleeping on a rock, the fridge made a loud buzzing noise all night and the walls were Paper thin. You could hear Everything going on around you in every room near. I stayed 4 nights and had no room cleaning or towel service. My room had ants. This place is terrible and u safe, stay away.
