Sheraton Gateway Hotel in Toronto International Airport

Splurged.... I can't complain about this room (top priced room). Telescope, radio to listen to airport, clean, comfortable king bed. AC excellent, no noise. Linens both bath and bed were white and in good condition. Chesterfield set up was comfortable with plenty of room. View of terminal 3 planes. No noise Lounge evening canapés and drinks good. Server excellent. It gets busy Breakfast in lounge adequate and tasty. It was busy. Train to terminal 1 was working and very easy to use from hotel. Once again I can recommend this hotel.

Very convenient to the airport, we got there in two wheelchairs. One caution, the Sheraton is accessed from a pedestrian ramp from the airport only via Terminal 3. We flew into Term 1 and had to use two different staffs of wheelchair attendants and a Porter to get to the hotel, which took about an hour. Great people though!

A bit pricey even for proximity to the airport

We had stayed previously and I had not reviewed. We returned for our March break trip we had an early flight so we stayed the night prior and we had a midnight flight home so we stayed again once back. The first night we checked in around d 3pm our room was ready and we headed up. We requested an extra blanket. The blankets are duvets not thin blankets. The room is very quiet cannot hear the planes or neighbours. Our room had the tram right outside the window and it was quiet. We stayed after our trip we arrived around 1am we asked if we could have a late check out which they extended it by 1hr. We asked for the extra blanket again and were shocked by how quick they brought it. In the morning I went to grab our daughter a quick breakfast the Starbucks counter I asked if there were bagels and the woman said no but the restaurant could make me one she asked the waiter and he grumpily snapped at her ‘were closed’ there was still 10mins remaining on breakfast and it was a bagel. The woman apologized and offered me a croissant which I gladly accepted. The hotel is expensive but worth every penny as it’s right at terminal 3 it could not be anymore convenient for off hour fights. We would never book early flights for the inconvenience but this hotel has changed that.

Option idéal pour nous, famille avec 2 jeunes enfants. Aéroport accessible directement par une passerelle, pas besoin d’aller dehors. Le valet a offert un jouet à mon plus vieux pour l’occuper en attendant le check-in. Nous sommes arrivé à 19:00, possibilité d’un late check-out à 18:00 le lendemain pour 110$ de plus. Piscine, spa, gym avec beaucoup de machines et poids libres ainsi qu’un autre gym plus style « CrossFit » ont été super apprécié en attendant notre vol. Restaurant offrant café, thé et eau à volonté.

C’est dispendieux mais si vous avez les moyens, ça vaut énormément la paix d’esprit et la facilité que cet hôtel offre, surtout avec des jeunes enfants, plusieurs valises et poussette double.
