Our shower had a part of the ceiling coming down with water leaking through

It is a weird thing to be happy about but most hotels i've stayed in, their heater or air conditioner comes on and then it shuts off, and then it comes on and then it shuts off. The heating unit in my room had a button that said continuous fan! That right there gave me a good night's sleep.The constant hum. Also, I loved the tank of lemon water at reception. A little thing but what a treat and so refreshing!

The breakfast was just eh. I have a gluten sensitivity (not celiac) and asked if the eggs had any wheat as many pre-packaged cartons of eggs now use wheat (or even pancake batter) to make them bulkier or fluffier. The attendant wasn't sure. Bacon was the only hot item I could eat. The apples were over ripe and bananas were green. A suggestion is to have individually wrapped GF bagels, bread, muffins. Little packets of nuts, certified GF oatmeal/cereal. For the hot bar, how about roasted veggies? You can get those frozen and just heat up in your kitchen.

The cleaning person was pleasant and helpful. Check in was good but after the front desk was condescending.

The room was not handicap accessible There was big gauge in the bathroom door There was a hole on the bathroom ceiling visible mold The first night are room was engulfed with the smell of weed someone smoking by our air-conditioning unit and window. A roach ran across the night stand. Even after bringing all this to front desk attention response was this has never happened before. No real apology. I was supposed to get a survey from them and have not yet. Was told maybe they will issue a discount refund.

Breakfast was great, service was excellent. Room was comfortable. Only down side, floor had not been vacuumed I think, and carpets in rooms and hallways a bit worn and old looking. All in all , great though.
