Comfort Inn & Suites Durham near Duke University

The room was very clean. Immaculate. The bed was extremely comfortable. The location was perfect for a visit to Duke University. The breakfast was excellent. Egg and cheese omelettes! Bacon, sausage, fruit, waffles, and more.

The refrigerator didn't really work very well, and it was wobbly (I tried to tell the desk clerk at checkout but he just kept asking me how my stay was), the bathroom sink and toilet were loud. Not enough hooks for 3 people to hang their towels. (Only 1).TV was messed up (looked like someone stuck a magnet on it .)Not enough outlets. Really minor inconveniences, and we were only there to sleep, so the cleanliness, breakfast, and comfort overshadowed these deficits.

Easy check-in process, clean and comfortable room, upgraded bath and shower. Easy to park, access off a main road. Hot breakfast each day. Friendly staff.

This hotel isn't that close to Duke although the campus is fairly spread out. Slow elevator (although it works). Hotel could use serious updating.

Only chose because of the location to the people we were visiting. It was expensive and not a good breakfast.

American breakfasts are very processed. Not healthy. All we wanted was an orange each day. There was no half and half for coffee, just synthetic stuff. Chemical smell in entrance and hallway.

The Comfort Inn is very convenient to Duke Eye Center, my reason for staying.

This stay wasn’t any complaints, continue to improve your guests experience.

Breakfast was just ok. Powdered eggs. Only apples for fruit. No hard boiled eggs.

The location wasn't far from the route I travelled.

The booking I made for a King bed was not honored. I ended up with two Queen beds (without a reduction in price) Food was spilled in the elevator and when I brought this to the attention of the manager, he showed little interest.

the front desk person, when I checked in, was more focused on a phone call he was on than his job. Not a good image for your hotel. There were other guests on our floor that had children that they were not controlling and the children were running up and down the hall and squealing at the top of their shrill lungs. Not the hotel's fault, just not ideal.
