Inn at Perry Cabin

We always enjoy our time at the Inn at Perry Cabin.

Never disappoints!

Great service. Bathroom very cold. Too many dogs. When arrived restaurant only had fixed price. Online only aka carte. Told could adjust for lactate no menu no prices rep entrees 36$ on live charged 60$ per. And asked if scallops spicey told no were very spicey. Breakfast asked of OJ WAS squeezed told yes but wasn’t. ALL SERVICE GREAT Friendly HELPFUL. great smores. Miss the old inn much cozier used to have complimentary full tea now have only hit water and tea bag’s ?!?! Probably not return sadly.

The property is beautiful and, the atmosphere is relaxing. I loved the fresh floral Christmas decorations.

The common areas of the property are quite beautiful and the location and setting can’t be beat! Around every corner was something new to see. If the weather had been a little warmer we would’ve loved to explore a bit more outside and walk back and forth to town. The holiday decorations both inside and out were so charming. Breakfast at STARS was very enjoyable. Every single member of the staff we encountered was absolutely lovely and so helpful. We really appreciated the little touches to the room and service that acknowledged our milestone event we were there celebrating!

Our particular room showed a little wear and tear and some minor signs of age. We noticed a bit of a musty/moldy smell sometimes (not unheard of so close to the water but not great when you have allergies and asthma). Our primary (minor) complaint was that the room and bathroom seemed to give up full functionality in favor of aesthetics— specifically, it felt like there was just nowhere to put our things. There was one luggage rack (but no good place to stand it) and we ended up having to block our door outside with that. The second suitcase had nowhere to go but the floor, where it became a bit of a tripping hazard. One side of the bed had a large nightstand but the other had a tiny table with scant space to hold the usual water, phone, glasses, meds, etc. A bank of charging stations was included on the desk—but we would’ve much preferred to have them next to either side of the bed, to charge overnight and still give us access. There was an armchair tucked between the bed and desk- but the guest next to the window really had no viable place to sit except the bed. Sitting at the desk obstructed access to the bathroom. In the bathroom, there was zero counter space. A small shelf over the sink held a toothbrush or two (forget about makeup or other toiletries etc) and other than a tiny glass caddy for tissues there was not anywhere to set clothes for after the shower except the toilet. The shower itself was quite strange, with nothing but a narrow vertical strip of glass along the wall to keep water (and warmth!) within the enclosure. All this might sound like nitpicking, I know, but taken together, it all really stuck out to us and made using the room for basic daily functions a bit awkward. Perhaps they were issues particular to the layout of our specific room, but not the takeaway you want at these prices, certainly.

We were able to stay 2 nights as it was gifted by a family member, which we were so fortunate to do given the hefty price tag (was $700 a night on those dates). We could have never stayed somewhere like that otherwise. The amenities in general weren’t something that warranted the price in the basic room (1 king), but it is such a beautiful place. What really made the place stand out were the activities they provide- we did multiple craft sessions with Mike, Brad, and Kyle. They were all so kind, hospitable, and personable. We had a blast with them and the time we had with them is what made the stay so memorable. We did wreath-making with plants that they had on site, ornament-making out of shells, and our family did glass etching and we loved all of these experiences. Thank you to all of you for making our stay!

Our family stayed at the Inn at Perry Cabin for the Christmas in St. Michaels weekend. The rooms are very comfy and have wonderful waterfront views. The parade in town Saturday morning was Norman Rockwell-esque, so adorable! Being at the Inn enabled us to walk down the lane and have a front-row view of the floats, bands, horses, dogs, etc. That evening featured a lighted boat parade that traversed right in front of the Inn. Breakfast at Stars was exceptional. The staff was attentive without being overbearing. Max, the host at the desk, called us by name! The servers - Dianna, Lindsay, Debbie, and Kim were exceptional. We had room service Friday evening, so we could unwind from the trip in and enjoy the atmosphere. Blankets are available at the front desk to cuddle up in the Adirondack chairs and enjoy the view. Nice touch! The holiday decorations - from the trees to landscaping to planters were so beautiful! A giant nod to the folks at the Inn for an exceptional experience! Thank you!

Anniversary weekend. We relaxed and enjoyed to town of St Michaels and the beautiful property.
