Quiet clean location! Front staff was amazing.

Friendly staff the room was clean and the bed comfortable. The jacuzzi tub was great and the double shower was awesome. Very quiet at night as well was a pleasant stay.

The outside of the hotel is old and outdated. The rooms haven’t been updated in some time as well.

Secluded

No pool time for me it being October. I came to meet up with friends the next day at Oglebayfest in Wheeling, and found this hotel quite handy. I grew up in the valley even though I live 3 hours away now. I remember when it was a Holiday Inn. Not sure if you get the customer traffic to support this thought, but the site does look a little outdated, although nice and clean. The Front desk people were efficient and friendly/helpful. The door insert card to open the hotel room door (I've used them or some like them all over the world) was a pain in the ass. Numerous attempts before it clicked. The bed was comfortable, the bath area was clean and stocked. It was a nice stay. The blueberry muffins and yogurt for breakfast were tasty.

The mattress was new and comfortable and the bedding and room were clean. Breakfast did not include a protein, but you could make fresh waffles and there was an assortment of pastries and cereals. We simply needed a place to rest on our way to a distant destination and the price was right.

The facility is a bit run down and dated. The bathroom tile and grout were looking tired and worn. It probably hasn't been remodeled since the 80's.
