Avoid this motel and stay next door at the Super 8! It’s sooo much better!

Very conveniently located regarding Cedar Point. Also close to a train; took awhile to get used to the noise. Very affordable.

The laundry was next to my room . Every time the staff went in the door slammed shut and shook the wall.

It’s an older building but very clean and reasonably priced. Perfect for a quick overnight stay when you’re going to Cedar Point and want a descent hotel at a reasonable price close to park.

The staff were friendly and accommodating and directed us to our upstairs room on the back of the inn. Breakfast was a decent selection of pastries, bananas, apples, cereal etc. Our room was quiet, we didn't hear anything after we got to our room late.

The door had one lock and did not seem super secure. Traveling with my 10 year old daughter and being female, I felt a little unsafe. It was probably just in my head since I'm accustomed to hotels with interior entrance doors but the weekend we stayed at Cedar Point our last minute trip could not locate availability in our usual accommodations. As advertised the beds were double and not queen like most hotels I usually book. They were comfortable and the linens were decent. Water pressure was lacking but the soap and shampoo provided was decent. The room temp was cool and refreshing after a blistering day at Cedar Point.

Great stay close to the park

The front desk staff was extremely nice and professional I won’t be back to Sandusky for a long time and if I do go back I would definitely go back to the cedar cove. I highly recommend

The lamp by the bed didn’t work. Could only find one plug to charge my phone
