Cedar Cove

Bottom line up front: It was clean, so I would be open to staying here again. My friend and I stayed here one night. It’s as close as you’re going to get to Cedar Point. From a location standpoint, the only hotel that clearly beats this place is Hotel Breakers. My first impression was that this was an old, cheep motel that had gone out of business then had been bought and remodeled. It doesn’t look great on the exterior. The guy at the desk was kind, the check in was painless, and the lobby seemed well-maintained. The room itself looked to be fairly recently renovated, but it looked like it was done with discount labor. Definitely some questionable workmanship. However, the room was clean. The bathroom was clean. The bed was comfortable. The heater worked. The breakfast wasn’t fancy, but filled me up. Overall, the room was everything I need a room to be. Luxury? No. Worth staying at again? As long as the price is good.

Location to Cedar Point

Would never stay here again. Door still had a crack in it when fully closed. Bathroom was small and door closed with a millimeter of clearance space of the toilet.

Close to cedar point

Wish the room was a queen bed not a full bed. Plenty of room to put a queen bed in there. Free breakfast should include eggs, breakfast meats.

Accommodating, and respectful staff

Room was clean,staff was great. Breakfast was ok,but decent.

For the price, this hotel was excellent. Staff was very friendly and helpful, all spaces were clean and well maintained. Rooms and beds were comfortable with good pillows. Continental breakfast was well stocked and good quality. This was a perfect spot for us, and so close to Cedar point. We will stay again next year! Thank you to the staff!
