Rodeway Inn Boise Airport

The condition of the room was not at all the same as the pictures provided. There was paint chipping, stains on fabric surfaces, and dirt on surfaces. The staff was friendly. The hotel did smell fresh.

Very clean rooms. Very good check in. He didn't charge us for our dog because they couldn't give us a King bed. Its a noisy building and there are people hanging around outside. We had no problem with them, but it is uncomfortable. Very close to the airport with shuttle services.

The ice machine was empty or not working. I called front desk to see where I could get ice. They just said push the button longer, so I returned and did that. Nothing. I could hear the hopper spinning but no ice the compressor was running. I called F desk again to report this with no apologies or solutions offered. I walked to gas station for ice. The bed seemed dirty. The pillow slips yellowed with age. I worked at a Choice hotel (Radisson) as chief engineer years ago and this “customer service” is not what I expected. I won’t stay at a Rodeway again.

For as close to the airport as it is, it's very quiet. But the place is definitely dated. The carpet in the room was disgusting. There were many areas that had been visibly soiled (hopefully cleaned, but I'm not sure how often that happens), and there were some spots that were sticky. I didn't walk around barefoot. The carpet needs to be ripped out. The bed and bathroom at least seemed clean. The bed was relatively comfortable, aside from the sheets and coverlet being very thin.

Beds had very thin cover. First night got cold. We asked for blankets the 2nd night

Over priced for what we got. The air conditioner leaked water through the night, woke up to half the room flooded. Could hear the other guests, especially the ones above us.

Dump! Even the coffee is yucky. Dirty old carpets, tiny room, noisy. I wouldn't go back. Spend the extra $25 to go somewhere else.

Property and amenities definitely needs updated, ice machines didn't work, sink didn't drain, toilet handle sticks, and noisey high traffic all hours of the night.
