Holiday Inn Melbourne-Viera Conference Ctr by IHG

The Eau Gallie High School Class of 1976 held our 50th High School Reunion in the Banquet Hall attached to the Holiday Inn. We had 100 past alumni attend and we had our event catered. The food was surf and turf with flank steak and Salmon. It came with corn on the cob, loaded baked Potato, asparagus and salad all from a buffet. The food was ALL EXCELLENT from the size of the portions to the wonderful taste of everything on the buffet. Several of our classmates made two and three trips. The wait staff and bartenders were all very attentive courteous and helpful. We would recommend any large group thinking of holding a similar size event not to hesitate having it at this location. The coordinator for our event Mr. Shawn Acerman was outstanding and fulfilled all of our expectations . We are already talking about holding our next get together at that location in the future.

Clean, very nice staff, definitely stay there again

Rachel on the front desk was most accommodating. She answered all of our questions. She was very personable. Housekeeping was good and all our needs were met. Will definitely be staying there again. Rachel took great care of us. How the staff interacts with me is very important to me.

2 hours to get to Melbourne to check into this hotel Pros it's in a wonderful location right off of 95 right next to five different restaurants and fast food and write down the street from Walmart and Target now to the cons this hotel is so out of date and if they call their self updating well they need a lot more time and help. I checked in first room was connecting floors look very dirty hallway covered with tape and plastic for when they were painting the elevator has chip paint and walls that are peeling now I go into my room not to my expectation for a Holiday Inn.i go down to the front desk ask for another room second room wasn't any better blood on the curtain chipped up paint on furniture peeling wall paint and carpet that looks very dirty again not to the holiday standards that I'm used to you can see the rust underneath the heater and air conditioning vent and around the bed platform I've included pictures headed back down to the front desk and checked out and drove 2 hours back home the young lady at the front desk was very nice but I cannot believe they call this a Convention Center or any kind of a place where you want to stay

My plans were disrupted due to an ER visit, so I didn't get there until 2:00am! They honored my reservation anyway, and after a room snafu, even compted my breakfast! We'll be back in a week or so under better circumstances! Very nice place! I slept like a baby, and their food is outstanding!

Room was clean and comfortable. Attended class reunion at the conference center. The conference center was perfect for the reunion and the buffet dinner was excellent. Perfect place to stay for evening event requiring no nighttime driving.

I recommend this hotel because it is clean, well managed, and has excellent staff. Every hotel has problems now and then; how hotel employees respond matters. There was a water leak in the bathroom during my stay. The staff (Rachel, Lukas, and Shane) were sympathetic, efficient, and resolved the problem quickly, for me as a customer and for the hotel by addressing the root cause to ensure that it will be properly and permanently fixed. Goodwill goes a long way; thank you Holiday Inn.
