Serenity Inn Sweetwater

The cleanliness

No heat in the room, called the front desk and they came and tried to turn up the temp. on the heater but we already had it turned up. They said it should warm up but it didn't and they never checked back nor offered us another room.

Breakfast options were minimal and prepackaged.

The property was clean

Bed was way too hard for my taste. Husband loved it

The hotel is very clean. The Staff is very friendly. Rooms are very nice.

Location was excellent for our travel needs. Motel isn't fancy but it was clean and quiet and price was reasonable. Breakfast was not really a breakfast but I had already read several reviews so I knew breakfast there was an after thought so was not surprised. Our important requirements were met: It was clean, front desk personnel were helpful and friendly. Location was easy on\off I-75 and past the chaos of Knoxville. Local restaurants were quite close and not congested. Very relaxing. We I could have a decent dinner (not fast food) at a fair price and I could have a glass of wine and my husband a beer without having to wait in line with a buzzer to get seated. When we travel we don't want to get off a busy highway only to have to drive more miles back on a busy highway to a congested restaurant. Sweetwater and the Serenity Inn was a sweet little rest-stop after a long day of driving.

Breakfast .... Maybe consider giving a voucher for an egg/sausage McMuffin next door at McDonalds? Note: I normally don't like fast food for lunch or dinner but I must admit having a McDonalds next door is a temptation for a quick snack or early breakfast when early morning travel is essential.
