Best Budget Inn Tell City

Staff tried to accommodate our needs and were pleasant.

When it says free breakfast...options weren't very fulfilling or alot mainly snackfood not really breakfast.

We stay here yearly for a fishing event for my son's. Location to event is great, other tenants can be a little questionable, but it's fine Staff is extremely helpful and nice!

2nd time I've stayed here for a yearly fishing event for my son. This past weekend, we stayed here again for the night. The staff was very nice and helpful! My issue this time was security. The entry door's deadbolt lock did not latch and the door was only secures by the simple latch of the handle. The security bar latch up on the frame of the door was broken/missing. I didn't sleep at all because I knew the door wasn't fully secured and family safety is obviously important. We will probably switch to a new yearly hotel next year with several other people who attend that and other fishing events there.

This motel intrigued me due to the price and the pictures online, however upon arrival the motel does not look as pictured.

My family and I had reserved three rooms. the first and second room would have been fine. the cigarette smell was bearable. the third room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke (we had reserved non-smoking rooms) and had so many flies in it and there was a bar of soap in the window unit. we asked to get a different room and the manager was accommodating. upon entering the new room (also non-smoking) the marijuana smell was so intense that we just decided to leave the property altogether. the pictures online are not what the property actually looks like.

The owner was a very nice lady and the location was great for the job that I had taken

They put me into a nice room until they found out I was here to work and then they put me into a dirty room and the knob in the shower was broken I had to clean my own room but couldn't get rid of the smell and the towels were dirty thank god i brought my own.but the lady at the front desk I assume was the owner was really nice ....
