Best Budget Inn Tell City

First there was trash all over outside the facility as well as cans overflowing. Our door lock....no chain and the deadbolt didn't work. The lady provided us a medium size bag of ice, instead of allowing us to get our own. The room was clean and we couldn't hear the neighbors when the door was closed. Location wasn't bad for one night but we will not be returning. During check-in, she couldn't find my reservation and asked me if I had already paid. I could have lied but didn't and made sure I paid her.

The whole experience. We didn't stay and are supposed to get a refund. The room was too small for 4 adults and 2 children

Service was good. Didn’t have high expectations due to the price and for the most part the quality reflected the price. My mine complaint is the mold and the amount silver fish in the bathroom.

This hotel needs a lot of work if not a complete renovation. It smells like fish likely from the sitting water in the pool. The bathtubs are dirty, stained, and peeling. There is paint splatter for the layered paint. Smells like mildew. If it wasn’t so late I would have requested a refund and moved somewhere else. We booked two nights but only stayed one. There was no real breakfast just coffee and a muffin, there was only two muffins the few times I checked. Sadly not even worth the low budget price you pay.

Comfortable bed. Good shower.

Would have liked kleenex in room.
