Bohol Dreamcatcher Resort

We had an amazing stay at Bohol Dreamcatcher Resort! The peaceful, quiet atmosphere made it a perfect place to relax and recharge. There were plenty of activities for kids, including a playroom stocked with toys and a variety of books to keep them entertained. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom was so large it felt like an entire room on its own! Plus, the free breakfast was a fantastic bonus, adding even more value to our stay. Highly recommended for families and anyone looking for a serene getaway.

The only downside was the presence of mosquitoes, which is typical in the Philippines. However, the resort thoughtfully provides eco-friendly mosquito repellent lotions and sprays, and the rooms are equipped with screens, so it wasn’t a major issue.

Food was cooked hard and cold. If you complain about the food, the one who cooked it make face and reacted.

That old lady has bad attitude if you complain about something, she gets angry by the look of her face and reason out to you. She doesn't greet or say your welcome. Not friendly. The staff need orientation because the customer service was poor in my own experience.

The room was comfortable, neat and clean and we particularly enjoyed the peaceful location - a hidden retreat away from the bustle of the beach crowd. The breakfast selection is impressive and my absolute favourite was the fresh fruit platter and watermelon juice. The Dreamcatcher team go out if their way to make you feel at home, organise transport and answer any queries your may have, so don’t hesitate to book!

This was one of the best family friendly hotels we have ever stayed at. The staff were amazing and so friendly. They helped with booking taxis/tuk tuks. Ordering in food to eat in the hut by the pool. Lovely fresh breakfast of eggs, fresh juice and fruits each morning. The pool was a lovely multi level pool with pool toys and slide. Ranged from shallow to 8ft deep! A slide from upstairs to down. The toy room was a great addition to keep little ones busy with a range of different toys, books etc. Many family's staying at the same time and all the kids played together in the toy room, pool, ate together at night etc. Made it a really personalised stay. Lovely big shower which opened onto the balcony, we stayed in the hotel room so we over looked the pool. There is 2 of these rooms and 2 room that are 2 bed suites. I really recommend it, even if not a family but if you are traveling with children it's absolutely perfect.

Absolutely nothing!

There were so many things we enjoyed about our stay in Panglao. The biggest one being the staff that were very accommodating to all the guests, the delicious breakfast we got each morning and the facility. The room was bigger than expected which exceeded our expectations. The accommodation is located at the best part of the city, 5 minutes away from the beach, Alona town with massage salons and seafood restaurants. We rented a scooter during our stay and spent the most of our days exploring the entire island.

There were some issues with the water pressure in the bathroom.

The unit was clean, and beds were confrontable. Its secluded, away from the beach area and quiet.

We were requested to pay a deposit of 2K by cash or to surrender one passport. No card payments on the facility and the staff were not friendly. The water pressure was pathetic. There was a blackout twice during our stay and the property generator was not working.

I liked the cleanliness and privacy of the place. It’s not big but it was just perfect for a family with little kids. The pool was also well maintained, safe for kids but be careful of the 8ft part but overall we loved it. There were nice big floaters as well so my kid played with it. The food was decent, we love the danggit! Thanks to 2 Ate’s taking care of the place they were so nice. Also, we love the lay out of the CR and the tiles. There were bikes and slides in the property that you can also use. I love this place, will surely recommend this. For the price point, not bad. Only downside are the mosquitoes. There were plenty so make sure to bring some Off lotion.

quite remote from the center and unlike some other hotels, this one doesn't have any shuttle service so you have to take a taxi (not expensive)

The breakfast has different choices and staff were very helping to prepare nice sandwiches boxes for us to catch the ferry in the early morning! Very nice service

Would be great to have some drinks that we can purchase on the reception
