I book a room sight unseen pulled up and took one look at the place (Bates Motel) and left. Never checked in because the place just grossed me out. How does Travelocity even promote a rundown place like this...

"Cold and Lumpy"

Room was clean but run down. Bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. The room temperature was stuck at 61 degrees - on a very cold January night. The gentleman at the desk said the temperature was controlled with a handheld remote and tried to explain it. But it was confusing and I didn’t get it. To me adjusting the temperature should be fast and easy and not some weird procedure. So I froze all night
