Palace Inn- Louetta

Staff was great. Met one of the owners and she was very friendly. They obviously care about this property, and it shows. Very, clean, very well-lit at night and felt very safe at all times. Spacious room, very comfortable, lots of food choices nearby. Absolutely your best choice at this price point. Savings, comfort, and a super clean room. Look no further.

Shower had a minor issue that needed attention and maintenance was not available, but a temp solution was offered.

Breakfast - Decent, But Lacked adequate Coffee .. Location - Very Good.

Coffee machine didn't work Well or Long enough (2nd time this has happened during stay). Price was fine, could always be a bit Lower. Check-in time was too Late 3:00 pm, Should be closer to 12-1.

The price was affordable. Good water pressure.

The room smelled dirty. The walls were visibly soiled with god only knows what. There were no batteries in the smoke detector. The bathroom door wouldn’t close and that’s a good thing because the inside door handle was broken. The mini fridge door would not open unless you tipped the whole thing back. The sheets were so old and thin you could literally see through them like a screen door. The ac in the room barely functions and when I finally went to bed it was finally down to 76 F. Some lights worked some didn’t. The flooring had a large gap in the middle of the room. The toilet barely flushed. The onsite entertainment was questionable “ people doing burnouts in the parking lot” Last but definitely not least the bathroom towels were the smallest I’ve ever seen…. Definitely could not wrap around your average size person
