Spark by Hilton Brunswick

There was some major construction going on during our stay, and we were not informed at any point before check in. The elevator was not accessible when we arrived, and the smell of paint and dust was EVERYWHERE.

They are under major construction. There is heavy sheet rock dust, paint fumes and other chemicals in the air. The furniture in the room was full of sheet rock dust. There was a hole in the ceiling. The front entrance is closed, the back entrance was only open %70 0f the time. When entering we had to walk over sheet rock chunks, wood, electrical cords and hoses. Not good as we were booked for an accessible room. When booking we were not told of this. Other guest we spoke to said if the knew they would have never booked here. We used booking.com. They do price match. That was not honored until after we called them telling them what the hotel charged us. The lady at the desk was very rude and did not want to here what we said. She just yelled at me saying I coplain to much and want the room for free. Very unprofessional.

Under renovation. Did not have room that was requested.

It was nice and warm and clean

It was under construction and continental breakfast was iffy because of th construction.

The breakfast was very good. Staff was very nice.

The place feels run down. The rooms are clean but old. The mattress was awful.

The handicapped room hardly met needs with a TUB shower and a shower chair, at least there were good grab handles. Not good for someone with a broken leg.

outlets at bedside were non-functional as they would not allow for a plug in of a charger or e CPAP machine. Most annoying.

Cozy atmosphere. But would have wish for the fireplace to have worked.
