The staff were amazing! Danny, Luca and the v young man whose name we didn’t catch are all standout people who made our stay lovely. Our room (the Cob) was stunning and so spacious. Our dog loved all the attention she got in the bar and restaurant areas, and we loved the decor. The breakfast was exceptional. We had a very immaterial muddle with rooms upon arrival, and despite us insisting it wasn’t any issue, the staff went above and beyond to make sure things were resolved and gave us a glass of champagne each. The attentiveness to detail and service is very good.

Due to it being an old building, the walls are thin. We could hear every single noise from upstairs whilst in our room. Clear conversation, music and heavy footsteps. Luckily didn’t go on too late into the night. But I recommend bringing earplugs! Otherwise, all lovely.

Best pet friendly accommodation we’ve ever been to. Our furbaby was treated like royalty and so were we. Food was also delicious.

Room clean and tidy

Beautiful building in a beautiful location. The bedroom was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Restaurant was great and so was the food and the hosts were attentive and caring and very personable.

Nothing

Lovely room, bar and garden. Food was excellent. Service was really good.

We weren't told that the bar was closing at 10 and even as residents we weren't allowed to order more drinks. We only ate at after 9 so had barely finished our dinner. Thankfully the very helpful barman sorted it out and eventually got us some drinks and locked up around us! All good in the end.

Great location. Great service from staff. Food excellent. However we had to change rooms due to only one window that you could not open due to it rotting Next room good but all bedding was feathered which I’m allergic to, towels need replacing as they are old and grey. Duvet cover needs up grading mattress needs a mattress protector topper needs a protector. Rug needs cleaning lots of stains Upholstery needs cleaning

Great location good size room attention needs to be placed on beds protectors and bedding and towels Specifically on stained rugs. Stains on arm chairs

We had Sunday lunch at the Swan and it was the best roast that I’ve had in a very long time! The pork was delicious and the veg plentiful. The Yorkshire puddings were amazing. My husband had the burger, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Our children, 6 and 3, were very happy with their choices of a child’s roast dinner and sausage and chips. We sat in the garden, which was beautiful and the service from everyone was exceptional. We were mainly served by Danny and he was very helpful and friendly. We are already planning a return trip with family!
