Lemons & Sun Apartment

Everything! We absolutlely loved everything about this apartment. It is so well maintained and very well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of Amalfi yet you are only 20 mins away on the bus. The host is excellant with communication and his Brother Sergio is also super helpful. The pictures and description are very accurate but it is even better when you are there in person. It is so peaceful and beautiful set amongst the Lemon Groves in a small village. When you get off the Bus you turn left to the first set of stairs on your left and you are literally up approximately 45 steps to the apartment. It haa some amazing views and it is very tranquil. The village is a 4 minute walk away to the Blu Bar/Grocery shop where you can get Bus tickets and a couple of nice restaurants are there as well. There is a pool, washing machine, iron and board which was really helpful. It is one of the best places we have stayed in. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

A lovely private apartment and garden area with a spectacular view of the coast and surrounding area. Easy to reach from Amalfi by a short bus ride, we were greeted with a friendly and smiling host. They gave us all the information we needed about the stay. There is a bar and local shop and a couple of lovely restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Facilities were clean and in good order. It was the perfect choice for a quiet and relaxing holiday. The pool was perfect for cooling off in-between relaxing in the patio/garden area.

Not really anything not to like, but a toaster would have been useful for our breakfast plans.

Amazing location, great experience of Amalfi from this property. Owners were very nice and helpful. Pictures do not do justice to how beautiful the views outside this property is. Also very clean and great accomodations (lots of snacks).

Apartment interior was modern fresh and clean. Location was beautiful. Surrounded by lemon trees and Mountains it is great for sitting out in the morning sun with a coffee. It is near Revello which is beautiful village higher up the mountain and is also near Amalfi. The town below. The host Sergio was incredibly helpful with sorting out transport from the airport to the property as we knew nothing about how to get there. It’s easy once you know how. Sergio also recommended the best restaurants. He agreed to keep the swimming pool for us as usually it is removed in the autumn winter season. He couldn’t have been more helpful. so I am giving a top review. Thanks Sergio.

We had a fabulous time at Lemons and sun. The apartment was exactly what we wanted…clean, modern with lovely outside space and the location worked really well for us as we wanted to be based between Ravello for a friends wedding and the Amalfi centre (a 15 min drive away) so that it was practical for a day trip to Positano via ferry. It was lovely being in a more authentic part of the Amalfi coast compared to some of the more touristy areas we visited. Our host was fabulous as we had been let down last minute with some transfers we had booked, many crucial to do with the wedding. Our host took the time to book all our transfers for us at the same rate which we really appreciated. We felt well looked after the whole time as he was easily contactable on WhatsApp should we had needed anything. Lovely breakfast items supplied too and milk, orange juice etc in the fridge which was a nice touch. One day we did the walk to Ravello, challenging but worth it. The only thing I did notice was some black mould on the grouting of the shower in places but working in property we were aware this would likely be partly caused by Amalfi properties being built into the rock. Highly recommend Antico Borgo restaurant which is a 5 min walk from the apartment…fabulous food, service and stunning views. There were two food shops that we came across in walking distance, one 5 mins away and a small village shop but had all the essentials, the other 20 mins down hill on the way there, but up hill on the way back…doable but I recommend not buying too many bottles of wine/water in one trip! A fabulous time, thank-you for hosting us!

We booked the property for 3 nights, receiving excellent communications from the owners before our arrival. The property is in a wonderfully private spot with lovely views. The garden is spacious with a relaxing outdoor dining area, with steps down to a pool. The pool is perfect to cool off and admire all the surrounding lemon trees. There is also a handy outside shower. The house is only 200 metres from ristorante San Giovanni which serves excellent food. There is also the Blu Bar where you can purchase SITA bus tickets if you wish to take the efficient local bus service to the lovely historic town of Ravello or to Amalfi. You can also walk down to the intersection below the nearby Despar (medium sized supermarket) and catch direct buses to and from Ravello/Amalfi. This is advisable as the taxis are expensive. We paid €70 for 4 of us from Amalfi to the house (3km). In terms of the accommodation it suited the four of us perfectly. The main bedroom is a good size with air con and view to the garden. The living area also with air con has the large sofa bed that easily sleeps two older children as they are effectively two single beds. The kitchen area includes hob, sink, ample crockery, cutlery and dining table. The owners supply lots of breakfast products, including jams, milk, juice and a very good coffee machine with generous amount of pods. The excellent bathroom has a very handy washing machine. Very efficient departure.

Only one small point is to look out for the mosquitoes.
