Hampton Inn Overland Park

Hilton Diamond here. Stayed here dozens of times over the past few years, as both the customer service (again, shout out to Dylan) and the maintenance/cleanliness of the rooms greatly eclipse the CS and upkeep of what are perceived to be higher end Hilton products nearby (and charging Diamond members for parking in an empty lot at the other place 'because the Hiltons downtown are doing it' is downright silly). Pros: I can count on one finger the times I have not had excellent customer service. I cannot say that at the other place. The rooms are super clean and the place is well maintained Cons: No ability to stream from the TV (been poking at them for a while on this one). Breakfast has gone from bad to worse; what are egg circles? If you're on a quick business trip like I usually am and all you need is a well maintained clean room, a place to lift a few weights, and a quiet place to get some work done, stop thinking you need to use a 15$ breakfast voucher for a an overpriced breakfast (I might have to rethink this one eventually) and stay here.

We have stayed at this Hampton over the last 30 yrs. It's comfortable and in a great location. We and our friends have decided that our next stay may need to be at a different hotel. Nearly 50.00 for additional taxes/fees is unexceptable. If it's the same way next time we inquire we will need to change after all these yrs. Please find a way to give people a chance to stay in Overland Park. We love it there!! Another guest sitting in the breakfast area agreed he will think twice before coming back,also!

Clean, comfortable beds, quiet, very nice surrounding neighborhoods. Breakfast was mediocre.

Beautiful setting with clean upgraded interior. Very convenient to shopping, restaurant's, and entertainment. Nicely decorated rooms. Good coffee. Average breakfast.

Quick check-in, clean room and housekeeping service was provided during stay. Team members were pleasant, location was convenient, and breakfast options were abundant. Would definitely stay again.

The room was very nice (except for the "squatty potty" low toilet designed for 3rd graders) and the housekeeping staff was kind and helpful. The back entrance steps were horrible for trying to get up with luggage. The incline and number of steps would be challenging for young folks (like the ones who commented such to me) but not doable for anyone with mobility issues who had to park in the back.

The bathroom was fine but the bottle of hair conditioner was empty. Why do you need so many words if I only have one item to comment about
