La Villa de la Plage

I usually choose the accommodation carefully making sure that the place has some "spirit" in it. This was definitely the perfect choice. The place has a direct access to a beautiful beach, the sunsets are simply spectacular. If you are a morning person like me, then you will definitely enjoy its peaceful and tranquil atmosphere when the ocean and birds awaken and the garden sets the tropical vacation mood. La Villa de la Plage provided us with all that we could dream for: warm welcome, beautiful setting, lush garden, privacy, good sleep and lots of relaxation. If you are lucky as we were, then you will be able to experience some cultural events and live music. I also strongly recommend the farmers markets that takes place each Saturday in the next neighboring town in Saint-Leu.

-Beautiful garden, close to a quiet beach. - Friendly host who adores her litte paradise and wants to share it with others in the best possible way. Delphine really thinks about everything, even small things to make you feel relaxed and confortable. - We also enjoyed the breakfast formula : a basket before 8am at our doorstep and we could have breakfast any time, any place in the garden, no pressure having to have breakfast between certain hours. Everything fresh, high quality, a variety. -Good wide bed! - the quietness - the free use of snorkling material, kayaks and sups. We saw a rather tall ray when supping. Amazing! - the possibility to book a 3 course meal with excellent wine, served in the garden. Excellent chef! - the massage done by Estelle. Worth the money!

Maysi was the ultimate professional and super simpatica. she made our stay, in this geat place, even more amazing.

What a wonderful place. We stayed in a great room in the middle of a spacious garden. The breakfast was something very special: In the morning around 8 o'clock Delphine, our very kind and helpful host, put us a breakfast basket on the terrace, you could choose from a menu beforehand. With this basket you could then look for a nice spot in the garden and have breakfast. Our favorite place was the tree terrace with sea view. There was also direct access to the beach. Fantastic. There were 2 standup paddles and 2 kayaks available to use for free as well as free snorkeling equipment. Paddling in the lagoon with the SUP was wonderful. We also enjoyed taking advantage of the opportunity to be cooked on site. Arthur, the son of the house, cooks very well with local ingredients and great creations. It was fantastic and a delight. The massages offered were also very relaxing. There was also a laundry service for a small fee. We felt very comfortable here and definitely want to come back, to this little paradise.
