Days Inn by Wyndham Brownsville

Room was okay, but ac was not working very well. It took a long time for the room to cool off. Older hotel with fairly recent remodel.

No problems with the property.Just room cost I was charged.I went 2book that room, the charge on Expedia Site,shown as $87.76(the exact price I am not able 2remember, but I know it was in the $83 2$88.range, not in the 100. range. Had it been 100 I would not have chosen this room/hotel. The only reason that I chose location on the fact that my wife I had been on the road since 8 AM Sat. morning it was near 5:30 pm when we decided 2stop check out Brownsville area. I knew that I had a credit of approx.$65 , since the room rate posted was in the $83 2 $88.range.I would take that room apply my credit on that location. Heck it was only one room with a queen size bed with private shower and restroom. When I saw my paid bill for $125. some change I was not a happy camper. I called Expedia Customer Service and tried 2get this resolved. All the Representative was interested in telling me how he was going to saw me that I was wrong that the room was Always $125. Not $83-$88range. After several attempts 2get him 2listen to what I was saying him NOT showing any signs of understanding, I admit that I lost my temper told him that I was canceling my subscription would NEVER use Expedia again.Had not been the only Snafu with reservation through Expedia. A week B4this snafu, on Friday 3rd of May 2024, we had book a room at Hampton Inn I was billed twice. Once by the Resort for $155 Expedia charged me $189. The snafu was fixed. Inn refunded $155 Expedia credit $48.Won’t use U agai.

Kind of expensive for what you get. It’s more like a construction worker hotel stop

We did stay this night Monday the 18 we ended up leaving I can cling stairs and they didn’t have any lower floor rooms is there anyway way I can get a refund

No real perks for this location. I wouldn't even call it a continental breakfast as there was not much offered. The rate for a pet friendly room was $186.00 due to it having double beds because that was all they had. Vending machine took money but didn't dispurse anything and only gave back $.50 out of $2.00

We liked the shower

The floors was never Swept or mopped. You take your shoes off your feet would be black on the bottom. Bed was made but the sheets wasnt changed. Didn't sleep ppl up stairs were noisy all through the night.

Doesn't look like much but room was clean and comfortable.

When I arrived the manager was asleep in a guest chair in the lobby. I don't recall him wearing a name tag or uniform or looking like he worked there. I asked about a military discount and he said because the rooms were rennovated he couldn't do that just now. My room was not renovated and there was no ceiling light just a switch that didn't work. The room was supposed to sleep 5 but there were just 2 full beds and no pullout or other accommodations. I was disappointed overall, definitely not worth the price I paid. Maybe after renovations are complete?

I have stayed here several times and I prefer this location out of the other hotels and motels in the area. The staff are very courteous and helpful. They are undergoing renovation and the rooms are nice. You dont have to worry about someone messing with your vehicle because State Troopers as well as the Sheriff Deputies and the Brownsville Police are in the area at all times. Dairy Queen, McDonald's and KFC are in walking distance and Walmart about 5 minutes away. Also its 3 gas stations that are in walking distance if you need to grab a snack.
