Bukit Taman Cottages

Ketut, her brother, and the other staff were super friendly and helpful. The accommodation was beautifully located and very calming. We were also able to rent scooters, which made it easier to get around. Overall, we loved our stay!

The view was lovely, staff were very nice and pool area was also very nice. Bed had nets which was a nice touch and room was spacious.

The bathroom as can be seen in the pictures is on the outside, we had other hotels with outside bathrooms but they had a half roof to cover the toilet area unlike this one! The 'roof' of the bathroom was very narrow and the toilet would got soaked when it rains and the shower is also fully outside without a roof to cover it which was not very nice to use especially during the night. We used the service of laundry unfortunately it was raining during those days and the staff failed to tell us that they still air dry on lines, so when we were leaving we had to pack damp clothes after paying for the service (we paid a reduced price but still we had to take everything to another dry cleaner again). they offer breakfast, lunch and dinner but dinner's last order is at 19.00hrs which is not very efficient especially since nearby eateries are around 10 mins walk from there and it is very very very dark to walk alone during the night. We chose this hotel as it looked near the port but it is still around 15-20mins away from port so you will still need a taxi if you have a lot of luggage. Also in the evenings it gets very dark so you still need to rent a taxi/bike, had we known we wouldn't have chosen this location.

Alles. Unglaublich freundliches Personal, alles sauber, jeden Tag wird alles gereinigt, es sieht alles aus wie auf den Bildern. Die in einigen erwähnten Kommentare bzgl der Straße: ist ohne Probleme machbar. Ist zwar etwas steiler, aber mit Vorsicht gehts prima. Die Aussicht ist der Hammer .

Der Ausblick war sehr schön aufs Meer. Wir hatten das große Familienbungalow mit zwei Zimmern und 2 Bädern. Alles top. Das Personal waren die besten, die wir auf der Reise hatten. Haben sich um alles gekümmert und immer ein offenes Ohr .Danke dafür. Moped wurde dort auch für die Insel reserviert bzw. das haben die organisiert. Abends gegessen haben wir immer in Restaurants in der Stadt. Gefrühstückt aber immer in der Unterkunft mit Kaffee, verschiedenen Eiern, Bacon/Würstchen, Toast und Obst. Das war für uns ausreichend. Die Zimmer waren immer sehr sauber. Der Pool ist riesig und bis zu 2m tief. Perfekt um abends nach dem Strand noch ne Runde zu schwimmen.

Man ist abhängig von Transport oder Motorroller um an Strände oder Stadt zu kommen. Das wussten wir aber und genau das ist auch gut so gewesen. Sehr ruhig in der Nacht. Das einzige ist, das die Klodeckel mal erneuert werden könnten.

Wonderful stay! Staff went above and beyond to make this stay one to remember. Stayed in a new bungalow at the lowest of the 3 levels of cottages. Situated away from noisy Jungutbatu area but still close. Birds are the only thing you gonna hear. Daily cleaning of the room, breakfast and food options are delicious, easy to rent a motorbike. Bed is massive and comfortable. Everything top notch, will be back.

Not a real big deal and also mentioned before, the way to the stay might be a challenge for some on the bike, especially when it rains.
