Nomad motel

Good clean basic accommodation. Comfortable beds well maintained.

the motel is cute and exceeded my expectation of a small town motel. It has a vintage feeling but very clean. The shower has really good water pressure. feel safe staying here. The check in was fast, owner was nice.

Place was old but clean, beds and pillows were comfortable, room was small, didn’t here hardly any highway noise, staff were not overly welcoming.

We have been staying at the Nomad when going to Vancouver for 32 years, always find it relaxing!

The plumbing noise from the room next door was quite loud.

Very clean and spacious. Simple was expected of the area which it was but the people were friendly and the room was clean. I would definitely returm and recommend to my friends

We got an excellent rate for a one-night stay here. The owners/managers were polite, friendly, and helpful. We were offered homemade cookies at the front desk, and they were yummy. The unit was clean and the beds were comfortable. However, when we booked and paid for the room through Expedia, it was listed as a room with one Queen bed and one Double bed, and a kitchenette, but there were two doubles and only a coffee maker and a fridge. We didn’t bother saying anything because we didn’t need more, but it was a bit of a surprise. More importantly, the room smelled very much of mould, which would have been a problem for sure for a longer stay. Finally, since this was during mid-July, there was a sign clearly stating that the heat was off, but the heater was pumping out heat. Overall, this was worth the low rate we had for one night, and I would stay there again, but I wouldn’t be excited about it.
