More parking around the building

Liked the staff...courteous and helpful. At first glance, the room looked lovely and clean. One day, the elevators were not working. Being on the 5th floor and at my "mature" age, this was not ideal but I dealt with it. Needed the laundry room and someone had left their dried laundry in all the dryers - for hours. Back to my room: I was washing a bowl and a spoon when I dropped the spoon. Upon picking it up, I noticed down on the bottom of the wall---4 areas that had been peed on by a cat.!!!! Blatantly obvious. This sweet critter had also scratched and shredded both front sides of the couch. The new ? refrigerator was clean but quite noisy. Although the bedding seemed to be clean the top cover was terribly old and lumpy. I held it up to the light and could see where the filling fibers were so old they were merely blobs of lumpy fiber scattered throughout the lining. On pulling the curtains open, I noticed that there still needed to be some finish work on the top frames of the windows... BREAKFAST was quite lovely. Basic but very tasty with an assortment of extras : pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, etc. Upon checking out, I was mistakenly charged for parking ( I did not have a vehicle! ) and purchases from the little "shop". Fortunately, they took care of this right away. Would I come here again? I don't think so. There is potential but rooms really need to be in better shape.

Very clean and cozy

My partner and I had an extremely disappointing experience during our stay. The sheets were thin and caused both of us to feel very itchy throughout the night. We made multiple attempts to reach someone at the front desk for assistance, but were unsuccessful. Fortunately, I had my own blanket with me. At 7 AM, the fire alarm went off, and we rushed outside. There were no staff members providing updates, directions, or even basic reassurance, which only added to the chaos. After the situation settled down, we again tried to speak with someone at the front desk. The woman there was rude, unprofessional, and was seen laughing and chatting with firefighters instead of assisting guests. When we later tried calling to request a late checkout, she answered abruptly, said, “Sir, we’re going through a fire alarm,” and hung up on us. As the face of your brand, your staff should meet a higher standard of customer service — especially in moments of emergency and guest distress. This experience fell far below expectations.

The shower was nice

The breakfast was awful not worth the additional that was added to the room for free breakfast. None of us were able to actually eat it both mornings we were there eggs rubbery and the turkey bacon was chewy rubber. My husband we are more than positive got food poisoning from the breakfast because within a half hour after eating he was projectile vomiting and him and I spent the trip in the room, unable le to go into DC to sight see lime we had planned with out friends, and he proceeded to have bouts of vomiting and diarrhea the whole time there. We had screaming kids in the room next to us and that's all we could hear all night. Not sure if they have had issues with bedbugs but I had bite marks on me after our stay there and as a precaution I fumigated our suitcase and have left ir in the garage since trip and I carefully washed our clothes in hot water and dried the max amount I could.
