The room was clean and the area quiet and quaint. It was about 15 mins from Hilo and was accessible to many places. Would definitely stay again.

"Great old building with modernity"

Our unit 1 was quite new and modern. No roaches or bugs. Water tasted great. Quiet location. Owners were responsive to any requests. I liked that they had a communal kitchen area and shared coffee and drinks.

If you like to sleep in past 7 you may hear people grinding coffee on the kitchen.

The owner was friendly and attentive to our every need. The room was very recently remodeled, well appointed, and very comfortable. We loved that the neighborhood was Bohemian, had several locally owned shops, and held a lot of Hilo history.

The balcony only opens onto a garden view rather than a landscape view.

Such a nice, comfortable, and homey inn!! Cody and Nicole are excellent hosts who are super communicative and helpful. It was so convenient to have code entry for both the inn and the room. Quiet, really nicely decorated and renovated, and comfortable! After full days and nights at Merrie Monarch, it was such a welcome respite to come back to!!

Pillows could be better quality - they were quite limp and lumpy!
