The ANMON Resort Bintan- Glamping

Our first glamping experience was truly memorable. We loved the concept and appreciated the impeccable level of service and hospitality. The staff were polite, attentive, and always ready to help. The bedding was clean and very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. However, the tent can get quite hot when the outside temperature reaches around 35°C. Keep the AC on 24/7.

The rates were higher than usual due to the long holiday weekend, so it’s best to plan your visit outside peak periods if possible. Coordination across departments—from reservations and reception to F&B, spa, transport, and activities—needs significant improvement. Having to contact six different WhatsApp numbers made communication confusing, and despite booking activities in advance, they were not arranged upon arrival. Breakfast was disappointing, as the food was cold and the warmers didn’t seem to work, which made for a discouraging start to the day. The tent-side BBQ was a fresh and interesting concept, but the food portions were disappointingly small and quite pricey. For reference, a meal for two (carnivore and seafood sets) with six bottles of beer cost around SGD 140. On a positive note, the cocktails at the bar were excellent, though the prices were on the higher side.

It’s a beautiful place with the rooms and the lagoon. Rooms are huge. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. Aircon works very well. Showers are strong enough and hot water supply is good. Staff are so super friendly and informative. Best thing is that there’s no tv in the rooms! Drinks in the room (water and soft drinks) are replenished everyday! Activities at the lagoon are so fun. We were there 4days and we have not tried all yet and would love to go back again!

Walls (or the lack of) are very thin. Expected as you are really staying in a cavas tent. But it’s quite bad if you have very early risers as neighbours. For the same reason, lagoon view tents would probably be better too as they are further away from the lobby/restaurant where sometimes they have events at and can be noisy.

Biliknya bersih, tilam sangat selesa dan bantalnya empuk memang sangat selesa untuk tidur. Dalam tent ada katil, peti ais yang disediakan air soda dan air mineral. Makanan untuk sarapan banyak pilihan dan semua sedap terutama pastry.

Wifi agak slow. Tiada tv dalam bilik. Tak ada banyak aktiviti yang boleh dibuat jika menginap lebih sehari di Anmon walau kolam renang besar tapi sunyi tak ramai yang mandi. Harap pihak pengurusan hotel boleh tambah baik dan sediakan lebih banyak aktiviti percuma atau bayaran minimum untuk pengunjung terutama pengunjung keluarga yang ada anak kecil kerana sekitar bintan juga tidak banyak tempat tarikan pengunjung. Kurang berbaloi jika menginap lebih dari sehari.

The atmosphere is really great. Feels like in the desert due to the concept. It will get pretty hot during sunny day. Also they have a bbq service which we really enjoy!

It is kind of noisy at night due to neighbouring stayer making noise at late night.
