The Simsbury Inn

Pool is only 3 ft total and jets didn't work in hot tub. otherwise great

Excellent all around. Staff could not have been more helpful.

The Inn is conveniently situated in the center of Simsbury and looks impressive upon arrival. How, our experience was that the Inn’s promise quickly faded. An unpleasant musty odor greeted us in the hallway outside our room. The room itself showed considerable wear and tear- stained tabletop, chipped paint, missing lamp finial. The complimentary breakfast the next morning featured overcooked scrambled eggs served on paper plates with plastic cutlery. The staff, however, was very friendly and welcoming. However, on the whole our stay at the Simsbury Inn was disappointing.

This hotel is older but nicely maintained. We liked using the pool and they put out wine and cheese for the guests each evening. The bed however wasn’t comfortable and difficult to sleep on. They really need to buy new mattresses.

Loved everything except not enough plugs to charge 2 phones.

Property was fine. Experience was less than fine as wedding party was loud and uncourteous to sleeping guests at 2am.

We got married here, & still live in the area. Love taking mini vacations to relax here, it’s wondeful

Without a doubt this facility has seen its better days. Stayed as recommended as very close to wedding venue sight. The decor and the worn furnishings show its very old age. The bathroom was something out of an old tourist home of the forties with a small bathtub / shower that would not drain and had no security hand rails. A toillet so small and low anyone with any kind of disability would be in trouble. Bedroom furniture was tired and worn as were the shades . One was actually torn.

The hotel was very nice but needs some TLC wallpaper was peeling bad is chipped mirror in the pool area has lost its silver. The pool itself was clean as was the hot tub but could use some paint and updating.

Front desk personnel excellent!
