A great hotel, friendly helpful staff and would definitely stay here again. The room was clean, bed comfortable and shower was good too. The room was a little warm, but opening the window and using the plug-in oscillating fan helped. The breakfast was an excellent help-yourself breakfast, offering breakfast cereals, delicious and ‘good quality’ full cooked breakfast, and pastries, etc., juice and tea and coffee. Located around a 10 minute stroll into the town centre where there are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Safe on-site parking costing £10 for overnight until the following afternoon.

Weather was hot and room air conditioning would be a big step up in comfort. Food vending machines look a little tired without selection only, also needs to be card payment. Currently cash only?.

We had a lovely room overlooking the racecourse (which we hadn't requested), the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Nice bathroom and shower, fluffy big towels. Reception/restaurant area was airconditioned, great on such a hot day. Complimentary hot drinks available all day from the machine. Breakfast was very good. Nice sausages, crispy bacon, lots of choice of bread and pastries.

Would have liked a bowl of fruit salad at breakfast, instead of just individual fruits. We would have liked breakfast outside, but there were no umbrellas so it was too hot in the sun. Provide some shade please!

Didn't seem as much choice , no tomatoes or mushrooms, and sadly bacon again hard . But plenty cereal, drinks , pastries so always something

The room was a bit dated look like nicotine on the windows and never felt so overheated in a building like we did at our stay

The location was excellent and there is parking a real bonus. Breakfast included is also an added lovely touch. Staff were all extremely friendly

Very little shelf space for clothes that dont require hanging up A small chest of drawers or a shelf unit next to bed would be useful. The one that is installed doesn't have any shelves or drawers
