Great location by the Race course with parking, Staff are very friendly and efficient, the hotel is modern and spotlessly clean, lovely clean comfy rooms with very comfy beds, breakfast was buffet style and was lovely.

I've never seen such work ethics in EVERY employee as there is at this hotel. Each and every one of them are an asset to this hotel. Arrived hours before check-in time as arranged previously due to personal reasons. Luggage was put in the luggage room, and we were immediately advised to help ourselves to the complimentary tea and coffee, another first. This was very much needed and appreciated. Handy for everything in Chester, Racecourse next door, and Miller and Carter around the corner.

The room was clean, comfortable and pretty much what one would expect from a hotel catering to those on a budget, so no complaints as such. The complimentary soft drinks were a bonus and the breakfast was OK but not worth waving a flag over. The staff we encountered were helpful and friendly with an enthusiasm which is not always present, so full marks there. Parking for the bike was secure and hidden from the road, but it cost an extra tenner!! While Chester city centre was just a few minutes walk away.

A nearby railway (about ten yards) caused some disturbance, and it was a little soulless, but for the money it more than met our expectations.
