"Great stay under $200 on a saturday night."

Went to Starve Rock for weekend, stayed in Peru. 10 mins away. The hotel was in a nice spot close to stores, shopping and resturants. The staff was awesome! They had a cooler of water in lobby that was the BEST i ever had. Free breakfast that was filling from 6am-9am. Easy in and out. Shower had great pressureand pillows were soft..

Mattress was worn in, my wife and I kept rolling to the middle of mattress, very uncomfortable for a 170 $ per night hotel, reminded me of the knights inn mattress minus the smoke smell

"Stop here, rather than in Princeton, for east 80 roadtrip"

We first stopped in Princeton, IL for a room late at night. The hotel wouldn't let us in so we continued toward Chicago. We saw hotels off the road in Peru and on checking trip advisor I saw this hotel has excellent reviews. The staff let us in at midnight. The room rate is reasonable. The room is large, immaculate and quiet. The bed and pillows are comfortable. We woke up refreshed. The breakfast was better than most hotels, egg white frittata, biscuits and gravy and a multitude of toppings for oatmeal. This is a top notch Marriott property.
