Super clean. Spacious. Friendly staff. Great free breakfast. Shuttle service - best if you reserve it.

We had to wait for shuttle at the airport. I didn’t have an American phone number that I could call the hotel from. Luckily, the shuttle did come in about 40 min.

Comfortable bed, quiet room

4 . The air conditioner was pretty loud . Everything else .good . Bed was comfortable. Tv was pretty small. Very busy /sold out . I like the convenience of airport shuttle 24 hrs every half hour

We stayed at the hotel for the convenience of the Stay Sleep Fly package (DTW). We have done this several times at other locations but tried La Qunta this time and we are disappointed. We arrived around 7:30 p.m. on Friday night and the power was out. The main doors were propped open as there is only a power door. There were several families including ours checking in. The two employees behind the desk had paper copies to check everyone in. We asked about the power and the lady said this happens a lot and dosen't stay off that long (we heard her say this to a few families). We walked down two very long hallways to get to our rooms using our phone light because the flood lights were only on in the hallway near the lobby. When we got to our room we decided to just wait for an update. Our oldest had just finished practice and was eager to take a shower. That of course never happened. Our flights was super early but without being able to charge our cell phones we were now worried about missing our flight. I sleep with a C-Pap, so there was no sleeping for me. I walked out down to the front desk hoping for an update, navigating with 17% on my phone only to find nobody at the front desk. When I walked out of the room I could see my breath it was sooooo cold. We had to leave the hotel at 2:30 a.m. to catch our flight. We were not given instructions on where to go to park so we were hoping to see an employee before we left. When we made our way to the front lobby, still nobody was there and the doors were still wide open. I have reached out to the hotel and still have not received a response.

Convenient to airport

Run down, unfriendly unhelpful staff. Power outage. No flashlights or backup plan. I am a senior citizen. Had to find my way to the Room with no help or interest in my safety.
