"Overall pleasant stay"

Good location and value for money. The host was lovely and quickly resolved any issues we had.

Facilities could be better, for example no chopping boards in the kitchen. The house was a little dated but okay for a few days.

It was clean and comfy

The taxi service! They either turned up late or not At all! We managed to find the best taxi firm in Essex though so if you’re looking for one while you stay, I highly recommend Graham at ‘your cabbie’ on 01245 354040. Best cab driver ever!

"We loved our stay at The Avenues. It was exactly what we needed for our weekend in Chelmsford."

The house was absolutely perfect for our needs; rooms for everyone (4 adults and 4 kids), wifi, big garden, free parking and a kitchen with everything we needed. And it was in a perfect location for us, as we could walk to the City Centre (about 20 minutes), and there was a Co-Op store just around the corner!

Small issue with the lockbox that contained the keys to the house (we didn't receive or find the message that contained the code). But a quick phone call, and all was resolved! And perhaps a bit more garden furniture (table and more chairs) would have been nice, as the weather was wonderful that weekend and would have been nice to sit out back for our meals.

The house was perfect nice and everything we wanted and more it was perfect location about 5 minute drive from town and restraunts and night life would recommend and would use again. It had everything we needed and more Tony was great at communication and quick reply Had the best weekend and we all had a nice time
