Comfort Inn - Hall of Fame

Motel and room were clean and economical. Parking, bed, room, bathroom all just fine. Convenient to local restaurants, interstate and Football Hall of Fame.

Breakfast at Comfort Inns are quick and easy - works for those of us just looking for something before heading out.

I arrived at 11pm got in my room and went straight to bed woke up at 4am and needed to use the bathroom to find out that the bathroom door was locked and I couldn't get in. I had to use a cup to urinate in instead of getting dressed and going up the hallway to find a public bathroom. When I got up in the morning I went to the front desk around 7am telling them about the situation. I was told by the desk person "You Must have locked it" Then she proceeded to call people and left me standing there not talking to me. After not being able to get ahold of anybody she proceeded to talk to other staff members complaining about how the person she was trying to call wasn't answering his phone and she left to go knock on his door then told the other people she was calling his boss to see if she could get him to answer. After all of this went on she basically told me she couldn't get ahold of anybody and she didn't know what she could do about it. This is the first time she said anything to me after I walked up after being very un-professional by letting me see all of the drama. So I went back to my room with no bathroom....... She then called me and said they would give me a key to the room next to it so I could use the shower but made a very big point of telling me I could use the bathroom only but do not touch anything else in the room. Are you Kidding me?? Who talks to anyone like that especially a guest who is already having a terrible experience. At the time I checked out (11am) Still nothing had been done to resolve the bathroom issue and nobody even really ever apologized to me or made any attempt at all to take care of it. As I checked out I asked to speak to the manager and mentioned I had originally considered staying in town an extra night but it would not be with their motel but I still wanted to speak with the manager about compensation.

NOTHING! The guy that checked me in was great! Courteous etc. He is actually the last person I talked to as I checked out and he knows his job wish he would of been their first thing in the morning. -- To finish the story...... About an hour after I left I received a phone call offering me a 15% discount if I wanted to stay a second night. Are you kidding me? How about a refund on part of the first night and a really good rate on the 2nd? So you are going to give me a $20 discount to come back and hope you do better? You have to be out of your minds. Still considering stopping payment on my credit card for the room if they don't reach out to me and compensate me back some of what I spent on a room with no bathroom or shower.

Not much choice of TV channels

The bed was comfortable and the room temperature was easy to adjust. The breakfast was good except the pastries were cold and seemed stale. There was a good selection of items to eat for breakfast. The attendant kept the area very clean and stocked.

The area that guests used to smoke was directly below my window and they were very loud and noisy at various times of the evening and early morning. They woke me up numerous times. I would suggest having the smoking area away from the building and post signs to tell the guests using it to keep the noise down so as not to bother the other guests.
