The hotel was more updated than expected. Could have used an extra blanket as it was January and necessary. We could have called for one. Breakfast options were fine although limited.

We were only staying for one night and leaving the next morning but one we checked in and brought all of our stuff up to the room we left and came back 3-4 hours later. Upon our return the microwave did not work and the TV looks like it was broken or damaged as all of the characters on the screen had a green outline around them. I reported both of these to the front desk immediately upon finding these things out. Also, the next morning we noticed some huge soft spots in the shower/tub and a huge crack on the floor of the shower/tub combo. Felt something sharp on the bottoms of our feet, something sticking out of it. In additions, it literally felt as if we might fall backwards while taking our showers. I suggested to staff that maybe they need to removed the shower/tub install to see if there are any weak/rotting wood maybe due to age or a leak. We were just down the hall from the pool. I took pictures and reported this to the front desk staff prior to checking out. Staff was very responsive and had the maintenance person come to our room just prior to checkout and then again called up this same person to take a look at the shower. Maintenance was very nice. All staff very nice, pleasant, and welcoming Inside lobby was decorated very nice for the holidays, not too much just enough. Very warm and welcoming. Breakfast was really good and had a nice variety of things to eat and drink, great for families traveling. We would definitely stay here again.
