Noosa Hinterland Retreat

We loved everything about this bush land retreat. Quiet, surrounded by magnificent forest. Huge, comfortable studio room. Good facilities. Breakfast provided.

Location great and continental breakfast excellent variety. All facilities in the villa worked well and were clean and tidy. Car parked right in front of main entry door, so bags easy to get in and out of property, so would suit people with limited mobility to get straight from car to villa. Owners did not hover over us while we were there so appreciated the time to chill. Lovely quiet location in the forest with only the sound of birds, crickets and wind in the high canopy, really let us recharge our batteries. Full streaming, foxtel, netflix HBO etc so great to catch up on some films if you want. Good amount of takeaways in surrounding area will deliver if you want to eat in. Great mini break and would come back again.

Orchid Villa - Thai themed with lots of items and furniture. Space is compact and with lots of themed tables lamps and knick-knacks. The clean flow through the space is compromised (not critically) as you have to consciously pay attention moving through the space. The rooms are dark in the forest setting with dark brown natural wood walls, roof and floors, this may present a challenge to older guests with reduced visibility, but does support a chill-out vibe. Lightening and brightening the theme and decluttering to improve flow would help the owners with cleaning and maintenance - Feng Sui the space to create the ultimate rainforest retreat.

Breakfast is good! It just lacked protein. Would be nice have some eggs, ham or tuna.

Highlight was the quiet setting amongst the bush. The room was comfortable and nicely presented. Fridge was stacked with lots of goodies for breakfast. Spent most of our time on the balcony enjoying the peace and quiet.

Can’t think of anything not to like.
