The hosts, Carol and Johnson are amazing, they made us feel like home and took care of us as if we were their old friends. Johnson took us for a hike to the nearest mountain, they explained us all about the area, coocked us tasty breakfast. We also enjoyed the opportunity to share dinner with them and try the food they usually have. They have a very pretty terrace with the view of the Shuhe town, a young very active dog, which has become friends with my kids. We got presents when we left, we will always have a pleasant memory of our stay here!

I stayed here for 4 nights. The owners were very hospitable and welcoming. They offered free breakfast and dinner everyday of my stay. In the morning I was able to eat breakfast on the roof and enjoy the beautiful views over ShuHe. They were very helpful in giving me information about the local areas so I could plan some hikes and activities. I was taken on a hike close to the homestay by Johnson and Carol. Johnson taught me more about the history of ShuHe and Carol did some guided meditation with me during the hike. I chose to stay an additional night and was given a discount for what was already a generously priced stay. I'm grateful for my stay here and would recommend it to others wanting to enjoy some beautiful views and hospitality from kind owners.

The best thing is the hosts- Johnson took us to places and gave us advice to see small places we would never have seen. Carol offers yoga and meditation. Ayi cooked very good food and we ate with the family often, including trying local teas, alcohol, vegetables and mushroom. Room was very nice- similar to the pictures, in a unique, local sytle. Value for money was top notch.

Depends on your perspective, but I hope you are comfortable with your partner- there is no bathroom door, only a screen.
