Dioscuri Bay Palace

Arrival - Not bad with the typical meet & greet as expected . Room - Absolutely not the best , with broken fridge , wallpaper all ripped in 3 areas and broken balcony curtain . Wafer thin walls and only ok cleanliness throughout. Food -Breakfast was served in the pool restaurant and was plentiful and was ok actually with plenty of choice . Hotel-Very dated , but has lots of potential with an excellent location and views . Staff-Italian style old school with a touch of I don’t care attitude. Head of house keeping stood out from the rest and looked after us very well and moved us to another room after 4 days of trying,due to us not being happy,and them being full. Thank you Return?- 50/50 Overview-Due to the fact that I emailed this business 5 times now over my left I Pods in the room on checkout and my dismay at not being replied to , I have to write this review.Total lack of customer care within the back office and management . Myself being a consultant in hospitality, I find this unbelievable that a hotel with so much potential can act like this to customers.

La struttura è piuttosto grande. Salone d'ingresso molto ampio con confortevoli poltrone, divani e tavolini per permettere agli ospiti di riposare o aspettare. Erano presenti vasi con fiori, piante, opere d'arte e un'illuminazione calda per creare un'atmosfera piacevole e musica di sottofondo. La camera spaziosa con due letti singoli e un matrimoniale. Ubicata al piano terra, credo sul retro dell'edificio, con portafinestra che dava su un patio. La piscina molto pulita, attenzione è obbligatoria la cuffietta che si può acquistare per 2€, presenti diversi sdraio ed ombrelloni. Il mare a poca distanza, molto bella la vista, la conformazione della costa non permette il bagno. La colazione continentale, servita sia all'esterno che in un grande salone con grandi vetrate, era ottima. Varietà di scelta tra dolce e salato. Personale cortese e disponibile. Ottima posizione con diversi locali sul lungomare e vicinanza alla Valle del Templi. Parcheggio gratuito all'interno dell'Hotel.

La vista dalla camera, il patio in comune con le altre camere risultava un po' disordinato. Solo un dettaglio, la signora della reception al check out ci ha fatto pagare mentre rispondeva e parlava al telefono quindi abbiamo lasciato l'hotel sorpresi dal disinteresse manifestato.

Camera confortevole e pulita. Personale gentile e attento alle esigenze dei clienti, ci sono delle ottime alternative senza glutine. Hanno piscina e ristorante con vista sul mare e il pesce è freschissimo e gustoso. La struttura è provvista di un parcheggio privato interno ed è situata direttamente sul lungo mare, vicina ai vari punti di interesse. Rapporto qualità/prezzo top. Consigliatissima!

We paid for 6 nights in advance and stayed for one night to allow us to find alternative accommodation. We understood that we were foregoing the cost of the other five nights, but we could not let this hotel spoil our holiday. It is a relic of the past with the layout of an American motel, with the same build quality. The music from neighbouring properties went on to 2am. Happy to leave.

Gute Lage ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß um den Strand zu erreichen.

Das Personal war sehr unhöflich, vorallem die blonde große Frau am Schalter. Hat uns angelogen und gemeint, sie hat versucht uns telefonisch zu erreichen, was aber nicht der Wahrheit entspricht. Außerdem wollte sie am Ende den kompletten Betrage bezahlt haben, obwohl ich mit der Kreditkarte bereits bezahlt hatte. So war es letzten Endes aus. Ende des Lieds: Sie hat sich nichtmal entschuldigt. Frühstück sehr klein und nicht gut organisiert! Die Sachen wurden mit Kühlpacks gekühlt. Im Zimmer waren an den Lampen Spinnenweben.

Old fashioned hotel which could do with a refresh but the pool overlooking the sea, the location and breakfast made up for the paper thin walls!

Beautiful grounds with a beautiful view. Walking distance to all restaurants and shops.
