"Terrible experience in a “suite”"

We booked a suite expecting comfort and convenience, but the experience was awful. The pull-out couch was rusty and completely unusable, which was shocking for a room advertised as family-friendly. The mini fridge didn’t work at all, making it impossible to keep our young child’s milk cold—an absolute necessity for us. To make matters worse, the sink broke during our stay, adding to the frustration. For the price we paid, this level of maintenance and service is unacceptable. I strongly advise looking elsewhere if you expect basic functionality and cleanliness.

The room was large and quiet, with a beautiful view of the city shoreline. The coffee machine and the small fridge were useful. Housekeeping was efficient. Nice pool and heated terrace. Beautiful beaches on both sides of the peninsula, with gorgeous views of both sunrise and sunset. Useful frequent shuttle service to downtown Coronado.

The bathroom needs some upgrade, I missed a handheld shower and anti-slip strips. The small convenience store in the lobby had very few choices of healthy foods and was expensive, with no other possibility to shop in the area. Very far from downtown San Diego and difficult to reach without a car. There is a bus, but the ride takes almost one hour and the bus stop area is very dark at night. Uber takes 20-30 min but costs 20-30 $ in each direction.
