I’ve been coming to this hotel with my father since around 2000. Now that I’m older and have a daughter of my own, I made sure that Movenpick El Gouna was the very first place she visits. I will always see this place as beautiful because of my memories here and because of the staff, whose amazing attitude always makes me overlook any negatives. However, this time, there was a major issue with the cleanliness of the public areas around the pool and the lagoon. The greenery and landscaping look like a desert, and there’s barely any grass left in most of the hotel. On top of that, the garden area wasn't clean, and trash was left right in front of my balcony from the day I arrived until I checked out. I truly hope these issues get fixed. I won’t stop coming to the hotel, but I really hope to see a real change on my next visit.
