The location and facilities available

When we arrived to book in to the Hotel we were not told the pool closes on Sunday at 4pm, we went out and came back later as we were too early checking in and the pool was closed. We paid the extra to use the 🏊‍♂️

Amazing setting and so secure. Perfect for the town centre. Great pool and facilities. The Stafff were tremendous, nothing was too much trouble. Members were very welcoming too.

Little things: Only enough shower gel for one person. Nowhere to eat if you had room service except the bed. No charging points for usb’s. At this price point one might have expected robes and slippers perhaps.

Location right on the Thames walking distance to shops, pubs, restaurants. Food very good

Service was a bit slow. Rooms a bit dated but doing renovations at present

Beautiful Location. 10/10 breakfast. Clean and spacious room.

When we have been there it was under construction.

The location, our room overlooking the river, 5 minute walk into Henley. The place, just wonderful. The staff friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Parking was great, all very secure. Pool and sauna exceptional. Breakfast room was just perfect. A great coffee and food. Bed really comfortable and the room immaculate. A really, really special place to stay.

We love this property having stayed 3 times before.

I think we should have been told about the refurbishment going on. This spoilt our stay as building work was not expected.

The breakfast was excellent. We got everyting that I asked for. Not rushed and service very good.

There was nothing that we didnt like

Location is great just a 5 minute walk to town Beautiful gardens and surroundings with a view of the river. Even though the room was very small it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Powerful shower.

The gates to the hotel are locked for security reasons - fine in the day when there is a member of staff to let you in and out, not so much at 9pm when they’ve all gone home. We couldn’t get in, had to google the hotel phone number and call reception to get walk down and unlock the gate. Room and en-suite were compact. Building work going on so it was a bit of task finding our way into the hotel as the main door was blocked, and then navigating around builders to find reception was interesting.
